Under the direction of the Director of Engineering, as a Maintenance Person in this role, you will:

• Perform repairs and maintenance to the physical building structure including minor installation work as and when required.
• Carry out general maintenance and routine preventive maintenance checks of hotel guest rooms, operational and hotel system in all areas
• Ensure fire safety systems and engineering features operate efficiently.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance in rooms and common areas.
• Maintain and clean stormwater drains, gutters, and hotel engineering areas.
• Assist with minor painting, grouting, silicon sealing, and other touch-ups.

• High school certificate or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a hotel or similar maintenance environment  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
