The Role

  • Respond to changes in the Food and Beverage function, complete knowledge on the food, beverage and service.
  • Effective participation in coordinating and controlling the outlet operations.
  • Assist in monitoring and analysing the activities and trends of competitive restaurants.
  • Ensure the quality of food, beverage and service provided in the outlet venue.
  • Support the Director of Food & Beverage and Food & Beverage Manager in the planning of budget, forecast, CAPEX, Profit & Loss of the outlet venue.
  • Conducts regular tours of the outlet to check on set-up, service, food quality, general maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Ensure that all outlet and Hotel policies and procedures and brand standards are adhered to.
  • To plan and prepare the development of outlet promotions and strategies.
  • To monitor all costs and recommend measures to control them.
  • Maintains regular guest contact to obtain feedback, create future and potential patrons for the outlet.
  • Implement appropriate and effective measures to improve control of costs / expenses / labor.

Talent Profile

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in similar capacity of an international 4 or 5 star hotel.
  • Diploma / Degree in food and beverage / hospitality management.
  • Service oriented with excellent guest interaction skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English is required for this position.
  • Outgoing and positive attitude.
  • Good judgement skills with ability to make sound decision.
  • Is flexible and adaptable in managing multiple assignments.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and work with limited resources.
  • Has strong team leadership skills with the capability of bringing people together to accomplish team objectives.
  • Ability to work under own initiative in a fast paced environment.
