The Role

  • Responsible for assisting the Director of Food & Beverage with the administration and smooth running of the F&B division. Primarily responsible for organizing work, follow up and tracing pending projects
  • Ensures timely reporting of malfunction, followed up with maintenance of appropriate office equipment when required
  • Participate in regular meetings and briefings as may be indicated by the Director of Food & Beverage
  • Ensures all arrangements are made prior to meetings (booking of function room, set ups, meeting materials etc.)
  • Co-ordinates with colleagues and representatives of other departments to ensure an efficient flow of communication
  • Takes minutes of meetings i.e. F&B briefing, Festive meeting, Post-mortem meeting, as required; ensure to disseminate minutes to all concerned
  • Maintain and updates F&B files, on WeConnect intranet and physical copies
  • Ensures proper requisitioning and control of office supplies; follows up on delivery of materials where needed
  • Attending to all external and internal enquiries on Food & Beverage offerings
  • Management and handling operations of the Food & Beverage Dining Concierge desk
  • Compilation of all F&B logs from the restaurant outlets, and provide summary report of findings during F&B briefing
  • Assist and support in the proof-reading of documents and materials that are related to F&B division
  • Assist and support in the preparation of reports for F&B promotions
  • Maintenance of Table Check Dining Reservation System

Talent Profile

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Tourism/ Hospitality/ Hotel Management/ Business Administration.
  • Possesses minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
  • Fluent in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and maintains a positive attitude when interacting with associates and resort guests.
  • Proficiency in computer software, particularly office applications, and demonstrates adaptness in operating various office equipment.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel and well-versed in using formulas and functions.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situation.
  • Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced working environment.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Langkawi island.
