Enjoy world-class productions of live theatre, music and dance at the Perth Concert Hall. Renowned for its excellent acoustics, Perth Concert Hall plays host to an exciting calendar of both national and international productions throughout the year.
Designed by architects Jeffery Howlett and Don Bailey, the venue opened on Australia Day in 1973; since then, Perth Concert Hall has been an important fixture in the city's art and culture scene, welcoming the London Symphony, Chicago and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras along with contemporary artists including Sting, Nina Simone and Ray Charles.
The intimate hall has space for an audience of just 1,700 divided over three levels: the Upper Gallery, Lower Gallery and the Stalls. In addition to the main stage there is a rehersal space, corporate lounge and large foyer, where pre-performance drinks can be enjoyed in the two atmospheric bars.
