Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Orchard, we are committed to promoting sustainability across all aspects of our operations. Our dedication to creating a greener future is reflected in our practices and initiatives, which are designed to minimise our environmental impact while enriching our community and cultural landscape.

Achievements & Certifications

As part of our ongoing commitment to globalise our green efforts, Pan Pacific Hotels Group has achieved the prestigious Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Multi-Site Certification for all eight of its properties in Singapore. This significant achievement highlights our dedication to sustainability.

Our ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications further emphasise our commitment to environmental management and occupational health and safety. These achievements align with our broader sustainability goals and reflect our dedication to creating an exceptional, responsible hospitality experience for our guests.

Our Environment

At Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Orchard, sustainability is central to our guest experience. Each apartment features a thoughtfully designed wooden cube that embodies our commitment to eco-friendly practices.

A filtered water tap is installed in every guest apartment, eliminating the need for single-use plastic water bottles. This initiative has successfully removed approximately 2,400 single-use plastic bottles each week, amounting to an impressive 124,800 bottles annually. We also provide recycling bins in all guest rooms to encourage responsible waste disposal and foster recycling habits among our visitors. In our ongoing support for the community, we actively assist local food banks to minimise food waste.

To promote eco-friendly transportation, we offer complimentary rental of bicycles, allowing guests to explore the beauty of Singapore in a sustainable manner. To further reduce single-use plastics, we have replaced traditional miniature bathroom amenities with refillable pump bottles of Balmain products in all guest apartments. This change has led to a reduction of 1,800 single-use miniature bottles weekly, resulting in an annual reduction of 93,600 bottles

We encourage our guests to take part in our towel and linen reuse programme, which conserves water and reduces energy consumption during their stay.

Our People & Community

We are committed to social responsibility and making a meaningful impact on our community. Our initiatives focus on engagement, education, and support for local causes.

We regularly host community events with our residents to foster strong bonds and raise environmental awareness. Collaborating with local schools like Queensway Secondary School, we introduce students to the world of hospitality while sharing with them on our sustainability and environmental practices.

Additionally, we support local charities like the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) by featuring their handmade cookies in our welcome hampers for residents. During our recent Residents Chill-out Event celebrating Singapore National Day, we proudly included a traditional game, 5 stones, specially handmade by MINDS.

Our Art, Culture & Heritage

We are dedicated to enriching our guests' experiences by incorporating the vibrant arts and cultural heritage of Singapore into our offerings. We actively support local and inclusive art communities by commissioning and showcasing diverse artworks, providing exposure for both emerging local artists and those with disabilities. The works by renowned Singapore Cultural Medallion recipient, Chua Ek Kay, are showcased in Pacific Lounge and our suites.

Additionally, our diverse breakfast menu, served at Pacific Lounge, includes local favorites such as Nasi Lemak, Laksa, and Chicken Rice, offering guests an authentic taste of Singaporean culture.
