Position summary statement:

To assist in the preparation of mis-en-place and production of food.

The Chef De Partie reports to the Executive Chef.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Assist to oversee the assigned kitchen section/station in the outlet and ensure that it runs according to the hotel’s strategies and performance standards

2. You will be responsible to assist in the organising and setting up of the kitchen section as effectively as possible

3. Monitor food and operating costs, manage and reduce wastage.

4. Prepare consistent, high quality food products and provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service

5. To keep kitchen equipment and tools in good order and report any defects/malfunction

6. To comply with the safety and hygiene standards at all time

7. To constantly upgrade culinary skills through training and/or self-study

8. To perform other reasonable assignments as instructed by the Section Chef

9. Updating of all FSMS temperature records and adhere to FSMS policies

• Keen interest in cooking
•  Able to perform shift hours
•  Ability to read, understands, follows, and enforces safety procedures
• Good health
