The Role

The Executive, People & Culture will work closely and support the Director, People & Culture in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Associate Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Associate Communications, Performance Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Associate Welfare.

Expectations:

  • Collaborate with the respective department heads to understand manpower needs and requirements and support with timely hiring and deployment
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment process from selection and interviewing of associates to onboarding administration which includes salary benchmarking, offer approval, conducting reference check, preparing employment contract, HR Information System data entry and coordinating of salary processing
  • Track and renew employment contracts of associates on termed employment
  • Process the application and renewal of work and dependant passes, security bond and any matters related to arrival and repatriation of foreign Associates
  • Administer associate’s on and off-boarding, including the conduct of exit interviews and return of Hotel properties
  • Assist with administration of promotion, transfer and re-designation of associates. Monitor confirmation status and follow-up on confirmation administration, including the preparation of confirmation letters
  • Assist with the administration of Associate recognition and award schemes which includes preparing commendation letters and awards
  • Update associate’s employment related details in the HR System. Liaise with payroll team on payroll related matters and HR System vendor on system related issues
  • Administer leave and benefits scheme and handle associates’ related enquiry
  • General office administration (stock level of service pins, name tags and stationeries)
  • Submissions of Notice of Accidents to Ministry of Manpower for any workplace accidents that occurred in the hotel
  • Provide support in the compilation and submission of regulatory surveys 
  • Submission of claims (including medical Group Hospital & Surgical and Workmen Compensation) to the hotel’s appointed insurer. Track and follow-up on claims reimbursements.  Liaise with hotel’s appointed insurer on any updates pertaining to insurance administration and its related matters
  • Support the Annual Performance and Salary review exercise
  • Provide administrative support for People Voices & Views (Engagement) surveys
  • Coordinate and conduct property Orientation for new Associates  
  • Participate and support in the review of policies, procedures, compensation & benefit schemes and any other HR related programmes
  • Assist with planning, organising and co-ordination of all associate communications, development and social and recreational activities/programmes

Talent Profile

We are looking for self-motivated HR Practitioners who have strong desire to experience and contribute in opening a Hotel. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as good understanding HR regulations and Law. You should have an eye for detail, takes a hands-on approach of work and is creative with the ability to adapt to ever changing labour market and its demands.  If you have at least 1 year of HR generalist experience, write in to have a chat with us!
